Gary Siegman “SIGY” (guitar, lead and background vocals) started playing guitar and singing lead vocals at age 14. Gary’s first gig was in 1963. performing for Marquette High School’s CYO
dance on 35th and Wisconsin Ave in Milwaukee, WI. Gary’s band “CINAMIN MIST” performed the opening act for the legendary Larry Lynn’s band “The Skunks,” with personality Bob Barry of WOKY radio as the master of ceremony. Gary’s band also performed at Marty Zivko’s in Hartford that same year in the GRAND Ballroom to a packed house.
Gary founded several bands over the years, including “RANSOME,” “CINAMIN MIST,” “BOTTOMLINE,” “DUO+1,” and co-founded “CADDIS FLY” that evolved into “JAGER,” a
South Beloit, Wisconsin-based recording Band,
with his friend Matt Vogt. Matt and Gary wrote
and recorded a popular CD – “Go Ask Sylvia” –
of original songs that played on juke boxes throughout the Janesville, WI. area.
Gary suffered a severe brain aneurysm in 1997 that impacted his ability to play the guitar, or even remember lyrics to songs he had performed for years. Fortunately, with the support of his dear wife Laura, family and many friends, Gary’s persistence and God’s help returned him to the stage, now performing with the talented “Room to Move” band.
